WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Point Park University volleyball picked up a non-conference win at Washington & Jefferson, 3-1, on Wednesday night. The Pioneers are now 9-6 overall after the 25-17, 25-14, 18-25, 25-23 victory, which completed their pre-conference schedule. 

Point Park racked up 61 kills and 22 block assists in the match. The Pioneers took control of the match for a 2-0 lead after hitting .379 in the second set. The outside hitters led the offense with Meg Reineke totaling 14 kills and Erica Gumz 13.  Reineke's scoring also included three aces and two blocks, and she collected 19 digs.

Three players had a similar stat line at the net with nine kills and five blocks each. That went to Ashley Taylor, Savannah Dishman and Jazlyn Rozier. Taylor added two aces and 12 digs. 

Julia Menosky put up a career-high 50 assists and registered a double-double with 11 digs. She also had three aces, two kills and a block. Libero Morgan Dangelo was one off a career high with 35 digs, which led the Pioneers. 

Point Park begins River States Conference play this weekend with its next matches Friday at IU East (6 p.m.) and Saturday at IU Kokomo (12 p.m.) Both matches will have live video and live stats provided by the host schools. PointParkSports.com has the live coverage links.
