NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. -- Point Park University men's soccer routed PSU-Beaver and ran its shut-out streak to three in a row with Wednesday's 7-0 road win over the Lions. 

Point Park led, 2-0, at the half before the rout opened up with five more goals the second half. There were seven different players who scored a goal for the Pioneers (3-2), who held a 37-6 advantage in shots. 

The Pioneers have now pitched three straight shutouts, and they have not given up a goal in their last 280 minutes. Juan Somoza played all 90 minutes as Point Park goalkeeper for his first shutout. 

Nawfel Bichiba (9') and Mitchell Roell (36') scored first-half goals for the Pioneers. It is the third game in a row that Roell scored. 

The flood gates opened in the 62nd minute when Trenton Fowler scored his first of the year. Rodley Thelors made it 4-0 less than two minutes later. 

Later, in a span of four minutes, Rejep Mukhammedov (76'), Alan Ramos (76') and Marc Bentley (80') all scored to bump the lead up to 7-0.

Point Park finishes up its stretch of four games in eight days with Saturday's home date verus Pikeville (Ky.). Kickoff is 12:30 p.m. at Highmark Stadium. PPSN on Stretch Internet will have the live video stream at PointParkSports.com/Live.
